"I truly believe the focus should be on me," he states. "I'm doing a lot of good work, knuckling down on the basics."
While Latimore has an undefeated record in two heavyweight fights, Asofa-Solomona isn't intimidated. "We started watching his fights, but turned it off after 10 seconds," he reveals.
As for the hype surrounding his debut, Asofa-Solomona remains humble. "I'm not a big media guy, and I don't like to talk trash. I just want to be myself."
And he believes that authenticity will be respected by the No Limit promoters and the boxing community.
