The Traitors: On-Set Feud and Adam's Explosive Reaction (2026)

The Traitors LIVE updates: Adam 'wanted to slap' co-star as on-set feud erupted

The Traitors continued tonight on BBC One, with two more contestants leaving the castle after a dramatic day of whispered suspicions, closely-guarded shields, and brutal roundtables.

Tonight's episode of The Traitors proved to be another tense evening of pointed fingers and brutal betrayals, with two more contestants leaving the competition.

After yesterday's explosive episode saw Harriet wrongly banished, viewers watched as the Faithfuls got rid of one of their own again, despite Jessie correctly suspecting Stephen of being a Traitor.

Ultimately, it was Sam who was banished at the roundtable, while Adam was brutally killed off by remaining Traitors Stephen and Rachel. Read on for all the latest updates as The Traitors continues this week.

Three contestants await their fate as The Traitors’ latest murder victim is poised to be revealed in the next instalment of the hit BBC show. Tensions are rising for the traitors as Jessie poses a threat to the group, having repeatedly pushed to banish Stephen – a danger that rises as fewer contestants remain in the game.

The last episode, which aired on Thursday night, saw Jessie, Matthew, and Faraaz vulnerable to the next murder after they failed to win themselves protection.

Traitors Rachel and Stephen were seen making the decision at the end of the episode, which closed before the victim of their next kill was revealed.

A former Traitors star looked unrecognisable as she debuted a new look after her breakup. Evie Morrison is best known for being a Faithful during the second season of The Traitors UK, which aired in 2024.

After taking a break from social media, Evie returned to Instagram this month to confirm that she had split from her girlfriend, as well as debuting a new look.

In the new post, the star had notably dyed her hair a light shade of brown, a far cry from her signature blonde locks on the BBC gameshow.

Viewers of The Traitors reckon they've sussed out another family link following a contestant's 'blunder' on last night's show.

The castle has already unveiled three confirmed connections, with Judy and Roxy as mother and daughter, Ross and Ellie in a romantic relationship, and Ross previously linked to Netty despite years apart. Speculation is mounting amongst viewers that additional undisclosed relationships may exist, particularly following the appearance of a family tree in the castle corridor.

Bookies odds on who will win the show are on Wednesday this week, with Traitor Stephen Libby as the most likely winner of the BBC series hosted by Claudia Winkleman, at 10/11 favourite, followed by fellow turret-dweller Rachel at 6/4. Despite having been voted as the 'most faithful' player, Jessie was deemed least likely to win, with odds of 25/1.

Harriet Tyce's furious and dramatic departure from The Traitors - in which she named Rachel Duffy as her 'number one suspect' - had zero impact on the remaining players.

Fans are in awe of Rachel's powers of persuasion in the castle - so much so that some are wondering why we haven't seen her curry favour in there.

Adam admits that he 'wanted to slap' James after shield betrayal. Last night's episode saw James secretly take a shield during the challenge, resulting in their earnings going down and some seriously miffed contestants.

Speaking on Uncloaked about the moment he found out, Adam said: 'I wanted to slap him. Honestly, I genuinely wanted to slap him and my head was going, 'Adam, don't, don't, don't.'

Sam was left flabberghasted when he discovered that Rachel was a Traitor on Uncloaked. With murdered Adam reading out the list of Traitors, he started with Stephen first, with Sam saying: 'I knew it and last night confirmed it for me as well! I knew that.'

The Traitors renege on their deal with Matthew as they contemplate his murder. Poor Matthew! Not only are Rachel and Stephen choosing not to recruit him as they promised, they're considering killing him!

Despite Harriet going all in on Rachel before being banished, Rachel hasn't received a single vote at tonight's roundtable! She's unstoppable!

The cast have banished yet another Faithful, with Sam being kicked off the show. It came after actual Traitor Stephen put forward the theory that a Traitor had to be someone who knew that James had a shield - and that person is Sam.

Fans are calling Jessie a 'genius' after she put forward her correct theories around Stephen being a Traitor. The Faithful pointed out that he was emotional about voting for Fiona during her banishment, suggesting that it could be guilt for getting out another Traitor.

Fans are frustrated as none of the Faithfuls suspect Rachel after last night's explosive debate. The latest roundtable has kicked off with Sam and Ellie's names being thrown out as Traitors - but fans can't believe that no one is suspecting Rachel.

A fan favourite makes her return... Eagled-eyed fans may have spotted that a doll from last year's infamous doll challenge just popped up in the task. Pleased to see that her contract was renewed!

With Adam, who didn't take a shield in the last challenge, having been murdered, the rest of the cast have started to suspect James as a Traitor after it came to light that he secretly took a shield. Could James' time in the castle be up soon?

The Traitors have struck lucky once again, choosing to kill Adam - the only person on their kill list who didn’t secretly have a shield. While they considered murdering Jessie and James, they ultimately chose to kill Adam. Hopefully, the ghost-hunter’s murder won’t come back to haunt them!

Claudia Winkleman has made her jet black fringe, heavy eyeliner, and pale lipstick a brand trademark, but there was once a time when she had none of those. In one of her first TV appearances, Claudia stopped by BBC's Good Morning in 1996, sporting a very different look. 'That’s the first time I’ve seen Claudia’s eyes. Aren’t they lovely!' one fan wrote.

Dame Kelly Holmes has revealed herself to be a huge Traitors fan and is impressed with how Traitor Rachel is getting on. Speaking to The Mirror, she said: 'Rachel is very smart, isn’t she? She’s playing a really good game. And I did enjoy the controversy with Fiona – she definitely stirred the pot.'

Harriet has taken to Instagram to speak out after last night's explosive episode, telling her fans: 'I showed you then who I really am.' In the video, she said: 'By now you will have all seen episode seven. And, yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I'm sitting here in anticipation of it feeling actually quite horrified at the fact that it's there and it's out there. But, I am glad that you've now seen me in my full glory or, blergh, lack of it.'

Last night’s episode of The Traitors was one for the history books, with crime novelist Harriet angrily confronting the Traitors and furiously accusing Rachel at the breakfast table. She even pointed a suspicious finger at Roxy after the pair clashed over Harriet’s rant. 'Harriet I don't want to hear anything that you've got to say and I think the way you spoke at the table was disgusting,' Roxy told her. 'To say that we're actually friends in this game, that went past the friendship for me.'

Ultimately, the rest of the group chose to banish Harriet after she asked them to - hoping that it would prove she was a Faithful and place suspicion on Rachel. Back in the turret, Rachel and Stephen chose to murder again instead of recruit, with them picking between Jessie, Adam, and James. But who will become their next victim? We'll have to wait until 8 pm...
